Mason to play despite injury

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason, who is suffering from a shoulder injury, will play on Sunday against Jacksonville, Ravens coach John Harbaugh told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio on Saturday.

"The shoulder is getting better, but he's dealing with some related spasms in his neck. We'll work those out before game time with some deep tissue massage and he'll go," Harbaugh said. In last week's win at Dallas, Mason caught six passes for 66 yards, including a 13-yard touchdown, despite having to leave the game twice after aggravating the injury. He was listed as questionable in the team's injury report. The Ravens will qualify for the AFC playoffs if they win or tie on Sunday.
